Thailand - Day 10 - Koh Samui

Day 10

Today was surprise surprise... another day of relaxation :) sorry, this could be another pretty boring post :(

We pretty much napped, read a book and napped some more until lunch time (really making the most of our last day on Koh Samui aren't we!). Then for lunch we went and visited out local corn lady on the beach for more awesome beach corn, followed by a trip to the local family mart (it's like a 7-11) for an ice block and some snacks. This was followed by more reading and napping...

Now this lasted up until about 5pm, then we thought it might be time to think about dinner... When we were on our sight seeing tour with Mr Samui we heard that the village north of Chaweng called Bophut had some pretty good night markets on a Friday night, so we jumped in a taxi and headed there.

Kristen made yet another friend after we had dinner, she's named this girl Buddha. Apparently they love each other. Kristen thinks the local restaurants must look after her because she actually has more meat on her than Holly!

This is the crowd in "the walking street". They only close it to cars and bikes for the Friday Markets. Still not as busy as the night bazaar in Chiang Mai

In our "Tuk Tuk" waiting for the driver to rustle up more people for the drive back to Chaweng.

Now we're off to pack our bags for the next leg of our trip to Phuket. Hopefully the next hotel has better internet!
